Opening Times Over the Festive Season
We will be closed on 23rd December 20234 from 12.00 – 5th January 2024 inclusive so that we too can enjoy a tipple of gin with a mince pie or two. However if you have an extremely urgent matter, please email shop@gininatin.co.uk which will be checked once a day during this festive period.
Orders placed between these dates will be processed in the order in which they were received, and will be dispatched week commencing the 6th of January 2025.
That said, if your order is for a ‘2025 – A Year to Celebrate’ tin of gin, then these tins will be posted on the 27th/28th of December 2024 using the Royal Mail 1st Class service.

1st Class – Not guaranteed or Tracked – orders must be placed before 10.30 – 19th of Dec 2024
2nd Class – Not guaranteed or Tracked – orders must be placed before 10.30 – 17th of Dec 2024
Express – Guaranteed next day service – orders must be placed before 10.30 – 23rd of Dec 2024
Despatch Times
Orders with payment in full: Once cleared funds have been received, despatch will happen within 2 working days* of the order being placed.
Royal Mail
Delivery dates are subject to working practices and Covid limitations. Due to this, we cannot give a 100% guarantee on their delivery service. We also ask that you check the official Royal Mail website for the most up to date information about postal strikes, which will have a direct impact on delivery times.
Courier Despatches (DPD or DHL)
It’s always best that you (the customer) provide a mobile number and email address with your order. This way you can receive a text message/email informing you of the arrival date, but also allows you to change the day/time to suit your needs or the option of asking to pick it up from a drop off shop.
SHIPPING OPTIONS
UK Mainland Delivery:
We currently only offer shipping within the United Kingdom on our website. Postage is calculated according to weight, size and quantity of items inside the parcel.
Our standard practice is that all items are posted second-class using Royal Mail.
Please note standard second-class UK postage to the Mainland by Royal Mail is delivered within 1-2 working days* from the date of posting, not the date of order.
Please also be aware, as we are all facing the Covid 19 pandemic across the globe, deliveries can be delayed.
We do however offer the following options which can be selected at checkout.
Fast-Tracked – Special Delivery
First Class – Royal Mail / DPD
Second Class – Royal Mail
Special Delivery Service – Orders MUST be placed before 10 AM GMT Monday to Thursday for us to process your order and get it to the post in time for next day delivery. We do not offer this service on a Friday or over the weekend.

International Delivery Options
We are pleased to be able to offer delivery to most countries. Please contact us to check if we can deliver to your desired location for an accurate quote ahead of placing your order.
Alternatively, you can place your order online, and delivery will be charged at the standard rate for the United Kingdom. Our team will then obtain an accurate charge and get in touch with you to take additional payment if the amount is higher.
The charges for sending an order overseas is dependent on both the size and weight of the parcel.
All delivery charges are subject to change and our team will contact you before despatch should this be the case. All delivery charges are in GBP.
Deliveries to destinations outside the UK may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied by the importing country at the time the delivery arrives in your country. All applicable duties, fees and any additional charges for customs clearance are the responsibility of you, the customer.
We are unable to provide estimates of these charges.
GENERAL DELIVERY TERMS
All delivery charges are subject to change depending on the size and weight of the parcel. Our team will contact you before despatching your parcel should your order incur further delivery charges.
Before you finalise and submit your order please ensure that the delivery address is correct, including the postcode, and that you have given any further instructions and a safe location to leave the parcel, if required. After placing your order please check the details on your order confirmation and contact our team as soon as possible if anything is incorrect.
Please note that once left at the designated safe location, we cannot be held responsible for your parcel.
Please also note that we cannot be held responsible for failure in delivery caused by circumstances beyond our control including, but not limited to, vehicle breakdown, incorrect delivery information being provided, major road works or road closures, force majeure, or delay due to a pandemic.
ITEMS NOT RECEIVED
If you contact us to say that you have not received your order, we will investigate the issue with our designated courier and will get back to you within 2 working days*.
ITEMS DAMAGED IN TRANSIT
Although every effort is taken to ensure our parcels are well packed when they leave us, accidents do occasionally happen. If you receive a damaged or broken item, please contact us within 2 working days* and we will endeavour to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Please note that we may ask you to provide photos of your damaged items.
