Utterly delightful, ‘The Coronation Gin Tin Miniatures’, in collaboration with Historic Royal Palaces, are the perfect size to pop into your pocket, feature as gifts on your table setting, or include as part of a regal picnic hamper to celebrate the Coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III and Camilla, Queen Consort, on the 6 May 2023.
Inspired by the Crown Jewels housed at the Tower of London, the design includes a magnificent gold crown, adorned with the iconic symbols of the four nations of the United Kingdom: a classic English rose, a traditional Scottish thistle, a springtime Welsh daffodil, and the delicate Irish shamrock. The illustration also features royal purple, a colour in history which reflected a wearer’s wealth and regal status.
The Coronation Gin has distinctive notes of lemon peel, coriander, cardamom and many more botanicals centred around juniper berries to create the ultimate refreshing taste.
Using classic dry botanicals, this is a straightforward no-nonsense gin. A smooth crisp gin with juniper at the forefront, citrus notes of lemon and orange, finished with subtle notes of cardamom.
Serving suggestion
Serve over ice with tonic and garnish with pink grapefruit. Alternatively mix up as a martini. London Dry Gin, distilled in the Cotswolds, UK, in small batches.
